1 First, cut away the
damaged portion of the Teflon and clean the exposed metal
surface with a non oil solvent such as MEK or ACETONE.

2 Make a patch by cutting
a piece of Fluorglas roll covering 2 inches larger than the area of
the damaged portion. |

3 Cut through both layers
of materials and remove excess from around the patch. |

4 Carefully lift one
half of the patch and remove the portion of roll covering to be
replaced. Smooth replacement patch into position. Lift up the other
half of the patch and remove balance of the damaged section.

5 Smooth balance of
patch into position to achieve smooth butt seams.
